Charlie's Freedom Site

This first site on ethnic cleansing is about Laos and the indigent Hmong People.

The Hmongs were strong supporters and fierce fighters for the American cause in Vietnam throughou the war.

In 1975 General Cheng Sayavong dictated that all Hmongs should be eradicated, wherever they were.

Since then they have been abandoned by the world and , in particular, the United States.

Many Hmongs moved to neighboring Thailand to escape the mass killings. They are slowly coming back only now to their native Laos.

In the meantime, General Sayavong has become one of the world's deadliest and wealthiest drug barons as a key member of the notorious Burmese Triangle. He leads his operations from his immense mahogoany mansion in the hills of Laos; operating in complete freedom from any DEA agents or any fear of being tried for atrocities against humanity.
